Pricing

Where does my price come from?

Your photos. Every item is recognized and matched to its published St. Louis price, and you see the total before choosing a time. Forgot a piece? Add a photo and the number adjusts.

What is the minimum order?

$100. One sofa ($126) or one washer ($133) clears it on its own.

Do basement stairs cost extra?

No. Basements, attics and the back stairs of a two-family flat are part of the flat price.

Is same-day pickup more expensive?

No. Today’s price is the same as next week’s.

How does truck-share pricing work?

Bigger jobs can be priced by how much of the truck they fill, from $241 for a quarter load up to $732 for a full one.

Booking and the Crew

How fast can a crew come?

Often within a day or two, and sometimes the same day when a crew is nearby. Open times show on the quote page.

Do I have to be home?

No. Leave the alley gate or garage open, or share a code, and you’ll get photos once the job is done.

Who does the hauling?

Vetted local crews working through JunkRabbit. Booking and questions go through us; the crew brings the truck and does the lifting.

Do you work on both sides of the river?

Yes. Missouri and Illinois addresses pay the same prices.

What Happens to Your Stuff

Why can’t a fridge go in a Missouri landfill?

RSMo 260.250 has kept major appliances, waste oil and lead-acid batteries out of Missouri landfills from 1991 forward, so they go to recycling. Read the appliance landfill ban.

What about TVs in Illinois?

The Illinois EPA says covered electronics such as TVs and computers can’t go in household trash. We recycle every one. See Illinois electronics rules.

Do you take tires?

Yes — $22 for one or $87 for a set of four, sent to a tire processor.

Can you remove a piano or a hot tub?

Yes. An upright piano is $364 and a hot tub $390, with a crew sized to the job.

City and County Rules

What does the City of St. Louis bulky pickup take?

Once a month, on your designated week, up to three items set out by 6:00 a.m. Monday — none over 100 pounds, six feet long or two feet across. Details are on the St. Louis page.

Can I drive a load to a City transfer station?

City residents can, weekdays 8 to 4, up to 12 loads a year of half-ton-pickup size — but not hazardous household or commercial waste.

I live in St. Louis County. Do the City rules apply?

No. County cities and unincorporated areas have their own haulers, so check with yours.

Where do you work?

The City of St. Louis, all of St. Louis County and the Illinois Metro East, from Alton and Edwardsville to Belleville and O’Fallon. See the full list of areas.
